The HOUSE
Description and equipment of the holiday home (la casa)
Ground floor bungalow type holiday home. Spacious and comfortable accommodation for 1 to 5 people. Ideal for 2 or 4 people. The area of the house is 90 m2. Why? There are 2 spacious bedrooms in the house, each with a double KING bed (2 meters wide). Large spacious living room with kitchenette, small connecting corridor. Each bedroom has its own spacious bathroom equipped with a shower, sink, toilet and a Czech-type 220 V socket for connecting a Czech-type hairdryer or shaver without having to look for adapters. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room is a matter of course. Shelves, racks and clothes hangers. In the Dominican Republic, the wardrobes are not so full, it is important to have somewhere to store your winter things if you are flying to us in the winter season. A ceiling fan is installed on the ceiling or on the wall, which will ensure a pleasant indoor environment in a tropical paradise. The entrance to the house is from a small covered terrace where you can enjoy your coffee every morning. The terrace also has a fan installed on the ceiling for more pleasant sitting on hot days. In front of the house there is a small, pleasant front garden and the possibility to rinse your feet from the sand from the beaches. At the back of the house, there is a small swimming pool and 3 apartments. A wooden staircase on the side of one of the apartments leads to a spacious and covered roof terrace with a grill, tables, seating, beach chairs and a beautiful view of the surroundings and the landscape of the local Zelený Sen residence. In the back part of the building with the apartments there is a washing machine and a clothesline, which are of course also available to you. Free WIFI, free NETFLIX, air conditioned.
Bedrooms 2 x (dormitorios)
Large KING-type double bedroom, 2 meters wide. Air conditioning, shelves, clothes rack (especially if you have winter coats with you on arrival). Removable scratched counter. A fan is installed on the ceiling or on the wall, which is an obvious necessity in the Dominican Republic. Insect nets are installed in the windows
Bed rooms
The bathrooms (baños) 2 x
The bathrooms are equipped with showers separated from the rest of the space by a glass partition. Every bathroom has running hot water (which is not at all common in the Dominican Republic). Hot water is "produced" in a small gas instantaneous water heater located on the back exterior wall of the house. The fuel is propane-butane. Flush toilet with small basket. Please remember that used toilet paper is not to be flushed down the toilet in the Dominican Republic. For these purposes, the mentioned basket is here. There is a risk of clogging of waste pipes. Above each sink is a Czech-type 220 V socket for connecting a Czech-type hair dryer or shaver without having to look for adapters. A mirror.
The kitchen (la cocina)
The kitchenette and kitchen unit are equipped with basic furniture and dishes. You will find a sufficiently spacious fridge with freezer, a microwave oven, a toaster, 2 types of coffee kettles (one Dominican and one classic). Double sink and four-burner gas stove with gas oven. In the kitchen area there is a so-called dining area with a dining table and 4 chairs. Of course, hot water is also available in the kitchen :-).
The living room (la sala)
The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, a small folding sofa and a coffee table. Design Dominican mirror, shelves and cabinets. There is also a main WIFI connection. In the living room you will also find a stand for drinking water in barrels with a water cooling function. Fans are also installed on the sloping ceilings of the living room, and an air conditioning unit is installed on the wall.
